Portfolio summary

This portfolio of student work shows that the student can explain why and how governments manage economic performance to improve living standards (WS1). The student gives simple explanations for variations in economic performance and standards of living within and between economies (WS1). The student describes how businesses respond to changing economic conditions and improve productivity (WS2). The student describes the effect of organisational and workforce management on business performance (WS2). 

When researching, the student develops questions and formulates hypotheses to frame an investigation of an economic or business issue or event (WS1). The student gathers reliable data and information from different sources to identify trends, explain relationships and make predictions (WS1). The student generates alternative responses to an issue, taking into account multiple perspectives (WS2).
