Written response: Bushwalking
Summary of task
As part of a unit of work about healthy eating and the outdoors, students learnt about the natural environment and participated in a bushwalk in their local community. Students explored strategies to promote minimal impact on the environment.
Students were asked to reflect on their own experience and then plan and develop safe, healthy and environmentally friendly guidelines for taking younger students on a bushwalk.
This task relates to the focus areas: challenge and adventure activities, food and nutrition, and safety.
