This portfolio of student work shows that the student can explain how people working in design and technologies occupations consider factors that impact on design decisions and the technologies used to produce products (WS4), services and environments (WS1, WS2). The student identifies the changes necessary to designed solutions to realise preferred futures they have described (WS1, WS3). They establish detailed criteria for success, including sustainability considerations, and use these to evaluate their ideas and designed solutions and processes (WS3, WS4). They create and connect design ideas and processes of increasing complexity, and justify decisions (WS2, WS3, WS4). The student communicates and documents projects (WS3, WS4) including marketing for a range of audiences (WS2).
